Categories of personal information we collect include identifiers, commercial information, and internet activity.
The purposes for which we collect your personal information are to provide and secure our services, to authenticate you when you sign in to your account, and to administer our rewards program.
The categories of sources from which we collect personal information are: directly from you when you contact us, and automatically from your device when you browse this site.
We disclose personal information for business purposes to service providers and contractors in the following categories: hosting providers, and infrastructure and security providers. Each one processes personal information on our behalf under a written contract that prohibits using it for any other purpose.
The categories of third parties to which we disclose personal information are: none. In the preceding 12 months we have disclosed no personal information to any third party for cross-context behavioral advertising, or in exchange for money or anything else of value.
We retain each category of personal information described above for 12 months from the date we collect it, and for no longer than is reasonably necessary for the purposes described above.
You have the right to know what personal information we have collected about you.
You have the right to request deletion of the personal information we collected from you.
You have the right to request correction of inaccurate personal information that we maintain about you.
You have the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information.
You may submit any of these requests in two ways: on our privacy request form, or by emailing us at hello@getprivisy.com. The form acts on a request to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information, or to limit the use of your sensitive personal information, right away and without asking who you are. A request to know, delete, or correct asks for your email address, because we have to verify your identity before we act on it.
You may designate an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf. Your agent may submit the request through our privacy request form or by emailing us at hello@getprivisy.com, and must include your signed written permission for the agent to act for you. We may also ask you to verify your own identity with us directly. We do not require a power of attorney.
We verify your identity before responding to a request by matching the information you provide against the information in our records.
We will not discriminate or retaliate against you for exercising any of your privacy rights.
We collect one category of sensitive personal information: account log-in credentials, which you provide when you sign in at your account. We use them only to authenticate you and to keep your account secure, and we never use or disclose sensitive personal information to infer characteristics about you.
You have the right to limit our use and disclosure of your sensitive personal information. You may exercise that right at any time on our privacy request form.
We process opt-out preference signals, including Global Privacy Control (GPC), automatically and in a frictionless manner. When your browser sends one, we display on the page that we have processed it as a valid request to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information.
A GPC signal applies to the browser or device that sends it. If you are signed in to your rewards account when the signal arrives, we also apply it to that account, so it covers every browser you use with it.
To send a signal, use a browser that supports Global Privacy Control or install an extension that adds it, then turn the setting on. You do not need to tell us you have done so.
A GPC signal never conflicts with anything else you have chosen with us. Because we neither sell nor share personal information, no privacy setting of ours and no part of our rewards program depends on your permission to do so. We will therefore never answer your signal by asking you to confirm it, to re-authorize us, or to give anything up.
Our services are intended for users 18 years of age and older. We do not sell or share the personal information of consumers under 16 years of age.
We offer a rewards program. The material terms of the rewards program are as follows: you may opt in from your account settings, and you may withdraw at any time from that same page or by emailing us. The categories of personal information collected under the program are identifiers and commercial information. Our good-faith estimate of the value of your personal information under this program is equal to the average annual discount received, calculated from the cost of the program to us. Joining is entirely optional, and your price and your level of service are the same either way.
We do not use automated decision-making technology to make significant decisions concerning consumers.
